A Restored Smile You Can Trust and Love for Life

Making the decision to talk to an oral surgeon about dental implants can feel overwhelming. Our team of oral surgeons can help you understand your options and empower you to make the right steps for the future of your oral health. Even if you have extensive bone loss or have been told you are not a candidate for dental implants, we invite you to visit us. We use leading-edge techniques that allow us to safely place implants like All-on-4® dental implants for patients who have been turned away by other practices.

Our Featured Treatments

Single dental implants can provide a permanent and immediate replacement for a missing tooth. Unlike dental bridges, single implants do not require preparation or manipulation of the surrounding teeth.

For a beautiful, complete smile unmarred by gaps, choose dental implants as the number one way to restore your appearance and function.

Full mouth implant solutions like revolutionary All-on-4® dental implants have become gamechangers for people who have lost all the teeth in their upper or lower jaw.

Using precise guides created using high-tech software, your oral surgeon will place four (sometimes more, if needed) implants in your bone. A temporary restoration will be attached right away to the implants, allowing you to leave surgery with a complete, usable smile.

An implant-supported overdenture is a wonderful alternative to traditional dentures. The customized, life-like overdenture will be fastened by your oral surgeon to permanent implants.

This allows you to restore most of your biting force in addition to improving the completeness of your smile. Best of all, your implant-supported denture prosthesis can be secured to your implants during surgery to give you visual and functional results right away.

A pain-free dental experience helps you stay comfortable and relaxed throughout your dental treatments. At our practice, we have performed more than 30,000 successful IV sedation cases.

Our staff includes Dr. Edward Halusic, who is an oral surgeon board-certified in delivering anesthesia. Get the IV sedation you need at our world-class facility equipped to exceed your expectations.

Common Questions We’re Asked About Dental Implants

Dental implants are meant to last for the rest of your life. Once placed, the implant will fuse with your bone and become a permanent part of your mouth. Though you will have to replace your restoration such as an overdenture or bridge within 10-20 years after placement, you never have to replace the implant itself unless you experience complications.

All oral surgery involves some trauma to the soft and hard tissues. With that being said, we do our best to minimize patients’ pain responses during and after dental implant surgery. You can be sure that your relaxation and comfort are important to us at our practice.

The cost to have dental implants placed will vary depending upon your situation. A single dental implant will cost less than All-on-4® dental implants, for instance. If you require other treatments before you can be a candidate for dental implants, you may incur greater costs. We will present you with a full financial breakdown of your costs before beginning any treatment. Plus, we can introduce you to financing methods that you may not have considered.

Because our oral surgeons have extensive training in placement of dental implants, we usually can make sure every patient becomes a candidate for implants. Even if you have severe bone loss in your upper or lower jaw, you typically can receive implants.

It is possible for someone with extensive and severe bone loss to receive dental implants. The key is to work with an oral surgeon like Dr. Edward Halusic and the rest of our team who understands how to safely perform implant surgeries on patients who have low bone strength.

You will be pleased to know that the success rate of dental implants is extremely high. This is especially true of implants placed by oral surgeons. Dental implant failure is rare and can be mitigated by talking with your oral surgeon right away about any complications or concerns you have post-implantation.

It will take a few months for your mouth to fully heal after receiving dental implants. During that time, you can still enjoy the natural movement, chewing force, and life-like appearance of your customized temporary restoration. A permanent restoration like a bridge or overdenture will be attached to your implants after you have recovered completely.
